Isiah is growing up quickly...he's a little over a month into 2nd grade. He seems to be enjoying school and his teacher this year, Mr. Field. It seems to be a pretty good match, Mr. Field has a direct yet calm, fun way about him that Isiah seems to respond to well.

We recently attended Open House night, and Isiah was proud to share with us that he has already jumped 5 reading levels since the end of last school year. Mr. Field reported that our boy is attentive and doing well in class so far. He encouraged Isiah to show us his writing samples, and although we need to work on penmenship, he is writing well...clarity of thought and sentence struction, and working on paragraphs.
